Il crepitio della legna scoppiettante nel camino, il suo profumo; la neve che fiocca in silenzio e ti lascia incantato, nasce la voglia di una cioccolata perchè tutte queste emozioni vanno coccolate, addolcite. Potresti buttarti sotto il piumone e avere la sensazione di aver lasciato fuori il mondo. Se senti la montagna lei ti regalerà una dimensione naturale, un ritmo unico che non appartiene alla città.
Questo chalet è magico. Il legno delle pareti è dipinto con delle foglie con bacche in chiave moderna. Ha un sapore barocco senza perdere la sua semplice bellezza. Perchè allora non osare con delle carte da parati, un pattinatore solitario o dei profili di montagne…L’altra sera sono stata ospite in uno chalet interamente vestito dal legno e all’entrata troneggiavano due giganteschi galli di ceramica, meravigliosi. Se dovete progettare una casa in montagna non abbiate paura di aggiungere il vostro tocco più eccentrico, ricordatevi delle emozioni che vi deve regalare perchè grazie a quelle la montagna ci parla.

The sound of a crackling fire in the fireplace, the smell of it, the snow quietly falling down, charming: it makes you feel like having a chocolate, as these emotions all deserve being pampered, sweetened. You could plunge into your duvet and feel you’ve left out the world outside you. If you sense the mountain, it will spontaneously provide you with a natural dimension, a rhythm which is unique and has nothing to share with the city.
This chalet is magic. The paint of the wooden walls features leaves with berries with a modern twist. The ambience is baroque in flavour without giving up a plain beauty. Why not dare any wallpapers then, a solitary ice-skater or nice mountain profiles… Some evenings ago I was hosted in a chalet fully covered with wood. Two giant ceramic cocks dominated at the entrance, gorgeous. If you are going to design a mountain house, do not hesitate to add a most eye-catching twist to it!
